Nola Ochs,95, from Kansas made history this month by becoming the world's oldest-ever recipient of a bachelor's degree. She received her degree in General Studies and History. Ochs began taking classes via correspondence at the age of 67, after her husband's death. She eventually moved onto the campus, living with other students, the same age as her great-great-grandchildren. She hopes that her accomplishment inspires others into seeking further learning.
- I think this is amazing! I often hear other adults complaining that they would love to go back to school, but feel that they are too old। I've always said, that isn't so. It's never too late to finish your education, as humans we never stop learning. You just have to decide what you want to do, what your goals are...and then go after them!
